Exultation of the Holy Cross
/1. We are appealing to parents, teachers, and group leaders to help us ensure that all children are registered in our Parish’s Religious Education Program for the upcoming pastoral year. We are accepting applications for kindergarteners to the 9th graders (ages 5 to 13), even if they attend Catholic Academies. Teenagers (ages 14-16) in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC), and adults in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Program (RCIA). Application forms are available in the back of the church and in the rectory!
2. Please mark your calendars for the following events:
- English charismatic revival from September 15th to 17th
- Creole Charismatic Retreat from October 17th to 19th with Sr. Claire Gagne
- Annual Parish Dinner Dance on November 14th.
3. Sacred Heart Teen Club is beginning the year 2014-15 with 2 Open House events on:
- Wednesday, September 17th at 8:00PM and
- Wednesday, September 24th at 8:00PM.
Orientation begins on Wednesday, October 1st at 8:00PM sharp. Ages 14 to 18 are welcome!!!
4. Youth Choir registration and rehearsal for youth between the ages of 13 and 25 begin at 12:30PM Sunday September 14th in Father Nolan’s Unity Room.
5. Kreyol Sunday Scripture Study is held every Thursday after the 9:00AM Mass in St Martin of Porres.
