Sacred Heart R.C. School was founded in 1949 and is devoted to the development of each of its children’s God-given talents and gifts.
Every child is encouraged to see himself/herself as part of the relationship that Jesus has established between God and man. Each child is guided in the hopes of developing a sense of individual responsibility and self-discipline as part of a sharing faith, home, school, and community environment.
Our educational policy calls for participation of teachers, priests, and parents in the formation and evaluation of curriculum guidelines in conjunction with the State and Diocesan mandates.
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic School has been Middle States Accredited since 1990.

Sacred Heart School opened the school year on September 6th with its usual excitement. We greeted our old friends and met some new ones. We celebrated Mass with the community to help us focus on why we are all here! Now we are in full swing with all the classes in tact and working on preparing to take the Terra Nova standardized tests for the next two weeks. Please pray that we do well.
The 4th Grade is the host class for the month of September. We begin each morning by leading the student body with our prayer of offering and our pledge to our country. The motto for the 4th Grade is “ Never settle for less than your best!” Our class proverb is “ Keep my words and treasure my commands”. Our class virtue is patience. It is our job to try our best every day to live up to our poten- tial as we are inspired by God’s love and word. We hope our striving to be very patient with each other will help our students grow. Our goal is to lead Sacred
Heart School this month with our hearts and minds on God’s intentions for us to be the best he calls us to be. Our first outreach project is raising money to send to the Ministry of the Poor of Cape-Haiti, in Haiti. We will be selling Sacred Heart School sports bags to be able to sponsor a child’s education. Please support our endeavor.
